This tool counts words, sentences, paragraphs, analyzes readability, estimates reading time, extracts keywords, and calculates word density. Step-by-Step Guide to Using Word Counter Plus

Step 1: Paste Your Text

In the ‘Paste Text to Analyze Here’ box, enter the text you want to analyze. You can type directly into the box or paste text from another source.

Step 2: Analyze and Count

Once your text is in the box, click the ‘Analyze and Count’ button to run the analysis. The tool will process your text and provide you with a comprehensive breakdown.

Step 3: Review the Results

On the right side of the tool, you’ll find the analysis results. Here’s what each section means:

  • Number of words: Total count of words in your text.
  • Number of characters (excluding white spaces): The total number of characters without counting spaces.
  • Number of characters (including white spaces): The total number of characters including spaces.
  • Number of symbols: Counts symbols like @$#%^&*().
  • Number of white spaces: The count of spaces in your text.
  • Number of sentences: How many sentences are there.
  • Number of paragraphs: The number of paragraph breaks.
  • Keyword density: Shows the density of specific keywords if set. Not applicable (N/A) if no keyword was provided.
  • Readability: This would assess how easy it is to read the text. Not applicable if no specific metric was provided.
  • Reading time: An estimate of how long it would take to read the text.
  • Speaking time: An estimate of how long it would take to speak the text aloud.

For keyword analysis, the tool also lists the top five keywords used in the text and their frequency.
